Xmas // Holiday

Ignorance is bliss, they say. But just in case you kind of like being informed, here is a little tidbit of information for you.
I am sure your Facebook feed and emails will soon be bombarded with people telling you to stand up for putting Christ back in “Christ”mas.
They will try to persuade you that using the word "Xmas" is a secular attempt to take Christ out of Christmas.
This is silly and completely bogus.
The “X” in Xmas is a Greek letter know as a chi (Χ), which just happens to represent...wait for it…wait for it...JESUS.
Using an X is not crossing out Christ, but rather using the Greek symbol to represent Christ. Knowing this helps us to see the beauty in Xmas.
Oh, also, saying, "Happy Holiday's" doesn't mean you don't love Jesus. Holiday = "holy day." And if you’re anything like me, the day in which we celebrate the birth of the Messiah of the world is kind of a big deal. In fact, I'd even say it's “holy.”
Christmas is a holy-day.
This year // Don't get caught up in all the silliness of the holiday season, but remember to celebrate Jesus. And the best way to celebrate Jesus is by loving Him and His people.
Merry Xmas and Happy Holiday!
