Wyatt Earp Did Something TODAY!

It was roughly 3:00pm on Wednesday, October 26, 1881 when the famous “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral” in Tombstone, Arizona took place. Frank McLaury, Tom McLaury and Billy Clanton were killed as a result of the gunfight. Morgan Earp, Virgil Earp and Doc Holliday were harmed but survived. Wyatt Earp was the only one who came through without a scratch. This event represents a time in American history when the frontier was open range for outlaws.
______________________________

I was wondering if there will be anything I do TODAY that will be remembered in 130 years. One thing is certain, I will not be known for a gunfight, since I don’t even own a gun, but what will/can/should I do TODAY that will be remembered?

TODAY, I want you to think about one thing you can do that will be remembered?

What will you do for your family?
What will you do for your neighbor?
What will you do for Christ?

TODAY, do something! It doesn’t have to be something huge, just something that will be remembered, something that will make a lasting impact on a person’s life.

IDEAS:
  • Leave work early to spend some quality time with your family (better yet, take the day off).
  • Knock on your neighbor’s door and ask them if they need anything (then do it).
  • Tell someone about how Jesus has changed your life (you never know, it may change theirs).

Grace & Peace, Marc
